Great again, Jason Dunne

«Green, again» consists of paintings, charcoal drawings, and found natural objects from Stavanger. The objects will be carefully chosen from the local environment through the medium of walking. The charcoal works shown have been created from burning previously exhibited artworks, and the objects displayed will be burned and transformed into new charcoal to extend the series after the exhibition.

The exhibition is a personal take on the concept of ‘green’, a word for colour, environment, the local and worldly. What’s created is a hopeful world built inside the gallery, with the reality outside seeping in.

Jason Dunne (1993, Galway Ireland) is an Irish artist living in Bergen. He works with painting, sound and installation, and presents his work in a simple, minimal fashion.
