How do I use my time? What do I carry on with me? These are questions Kjellaug poses through the process of the works and that she also wishes to pose through this exhibition. "Some moments break" has become the working title of this project. Thingbø uses colors, light and contrasts to capture and convey different moods.
Kjellaug Thingbø is a visual artist from Rogaland. Raised on a farm in Jæren, there has never been a lack of beautiful surroundings to be inspired by, and since her childhood she has been interested in communicating this through drawing and painting. Thingbø has a two-year Visual Arts education from Nydalen Kunstskole in Oslo. She explores different mediums such as painting, drawing and photography. In this exhibition she is showing works in acrylic, egg tempera, pastels and coal.
