Tekst & Coffee with Silje Ree, 18.12-20.12.18

Silje Ree works with text and visual poetry, and therefore we opened her exhibition through a Text & Coffee event where she read some of her texts for us. It was also an opportunity for conversation and questions afterwards.

Silje Ree is a poet from Bryne, Norway. She has studied at the Author Studies in Bø and Creative Writing at Kingston University. She is currently studying Master of Visual Arts at the University of the Arts London. She has previously published poetry in several literary magazines: 3am magazine, Lasso, Philologist Ripple and Bøygen. In 2018 she published E∩N, a small poem collection that uses words from English and Norwegian with different meanings in a surreal poem with creative extensions in the form of footnotes. The same year she published a selection of poetry at NorskArt and Museum of Futures in London. In her poetry, she explores languages, words and letters. In this exhibition you can see a wide selection of Silje's works that she developed in the course “Poetry: Innovation and Experiment” at Kingston University.
