TEXTile, Vibeke Andersen og Ingrid Lending, 08.07-31.07.19
A collaboration project between artist Vibeke Andersen and writer Ingrid Lending. The exhibition is an experimental project that shows textile works and texts. How do independent works influence each other when they stand together? The experiment has been a study in self-control to release ownership of one’s own works and open up for free interpretation.
Vibeke Andersen graduated from the Art School in Rogaland, 2014 - 2016. After graduating, she has worked in her own studio in Stavanger. In 2018, she made her debut at the Statens Høstutstilling with one of her embroideries.
Ingrid Lending is 21 years old and grew up in Kvernaland. From a young age, she has had a special interest in text - both as a reader and a writer. In 2013, she won a writing competition organized by the Association Rogaland Novgorod, and was rewarded with a trip to Russia. In 2014, she received Drømmestipendet, awarded by Time Municipality.
